There is nothing quite like the smell of model paint in the morning. I sat and enjoyed the remaining slight tackiness, and browsed the track list over my crumpets.
Now I am intrigued to know a bit about the artwork... what does this all mean? There is something a bit African, something abstract - I would love to say and artist right now, but truth is I can't think of anyone.
This compilation starts a little abstract, Vangelis - Chariots of Fire, Blade Runner - I don't think I have ever just listened to one of his songs, and would never choose to - I'm glad this has made me listen.
There are also a few artists on here that I have never heard of...
Ulrich Schnauss, Nun of the Above, Rebelski, Dining Rooms, E.S.T. which according to Wiki means Esbjörn Svensson Trio (formed 1990) a Swedish jazz piano trio - who it turns out I have heard of.
Now to my top 3: Way out - Ellien Allien & Apparat This is nice. And I have never heard of this women - although I recognise the melody from somewhere.
Kingdoms of Rain - Soulsavers Is that Mark Lanegans distinctive voice? Yes, its distinctive and I can distinquish it. I like it. Now I have to go and listen to a load more of his stuff.
EST - that means Esbajyornsvensen Trio This makes me want to buy a lounge and sit in it... But in a real good way. mmmm.
Just to add: Conversation in the woods - Liam Abel. Yeah, Liam is south African. What you may at first believe is a recording of the Highveld Plateaus is shattered by a coupla traditional english retards.
